NV+ V2 Volume C: RAID Level X2, Not redundant
Sir,
I am using a NV+ V2 with radiator version 5.3.9 and 4x2 tb Seagate hdds.
I changed the 4th Hdd with same model sometime ago as it was giving smart errors.
Today after booting up there was ticking sound from Hdd1, so i just hot-plugged and re-plugged it.
After that it is showing Volume C Unprotected.
Below are some entries from Log :
Please guide me further on this.

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredDo you have a backup?
- kalpsrAspirantNo sir. Currently its not possible to backup whole data.
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYou may wish to contact our support team.
We have some paid options for looking into situations like these to see what can be done.
If a disk is failing you shouldn't remove then re-insert it. You should remove it and get a new disk.
But, you should maintain regular backups of important data. Important data should never be stored on just the one device.
