Odd disk usage question
Hi To all! I have only had my ReadyNAs Duo V1 for a month now so in all probability i am probably doing something wrong - but here goes... Unit has on 2TB drive and has been factory reset to run...
The read speed is about all you can expect with a 100 mbit switch. Clearly something else is slowing down the writes a bit. RAID writes are slower than reads (since the reads can potentially be spread across the two drives, but the writes need to be done on both). The performance issues in 4.1.8 certainly won't help.
