OS6 now works on x86 Legacy WARNING: NO NTGR SUPPORT!
Update: It is now unofficially possible using NTGR images to update legacy hardware to os6.X See Post #3, for directions to install 6.2.1 on x86 Ultra and Pro Models. (ARM NOT SUPPORTED by this OS) ...
mdgm and I have decided that its time to lock this thread. So please do post any new OS6 on Legacy issues on their own threads.
Patrick Lo suggested there were supply issues not demand issues. NetGear wasn't able to ship as many units as they could have sold had they been able to produce them in time. It sounds like the new products were probably released later than they had anticipated. It will be interesting to see if there is a ReadyNAS related comment regarding the Q2 results.
As the transition is still in progress (the diskless RN516 only came in stock earlier this week in the US) there may be an impact into Q2.
