Thanks mdgm for your answers :D
Even new firmware uprgades will work via web ui  : excellent! I thought there would be hardware control in order to accept or cancel the upgrade.
For Rsync I don't know if it's a good thing for my installation, let me explain quickly :
I've an HTPC with [a ssd for system (win 8.1) and] a 2Tb for data (pictures, music, videos, software, documents), which is completely $hared.
I want to plan a task in order to backup the shared data drive without one or two directories to the nas.
This backup will be accessible via ReadyDLNA and the exclude directories will be saved in an other directory which is not accessible via ReadyDLNA thanks to a second tack.
I want to execute the 2 tasks (incremental) when I pushed the backup button of the nas.
It's easy to set up.... If (Win) timestamp backups accept exclusions :x
So if I'm not wrong, Rsync isn't for backing up a windows share to the nas ?
Sorry for extending the discussion about my case
