OS6 now works on x86 Legacy WARNING: NO NTGR SUPPORT!
Update: It is now unofficially possible using NTGR images to update legacy hardware to os6.X See Post #3, for directions to install 6.2.1 on x86 Ultra and Pro Models. (ARM NOT SUPPORTED by this OS) ...
mdgm and I have decided that its time to lock this thread. So please do post any new OS6 on Legacy issues on their own threads.
I tried a test backup job today (using OS 6.1.7 RC4) which did not work. Here is the output of the log:
The nas connects properly to the ftp on the other nas as I did a Test Connection.
Here is what my syslog reports:
Backup Job Name: Test
Backup Job Type: Incremental
Protocol: ftp
Backup Source: [Documents]/
Backup Destination: [remote:ftp]/ftp://192.168.1.102//data/Backup
Backup Start Time: Sat Mar 15 2014 17:38:03
Backup Finish Time: Sat Mar 15 2014 17:38:03
Backup Status: Fail: failure during copy.
