OS6 now works on x86 Legacy WARNING: NO NTGR SUPPORT!
Update: It is now unofficially possible using NTGR images to update legacy hardware to os6.X See Post #3, for directions to install 6.2.1 on x86 Ultra and Pro Models. (ARM NOT SUPPORTED by this OS) ...

on my Ultra2 I do have the fan animation turning slowly and the correct reading of the fan speed just below this animation on the System>Performance> page.

There is no hdd spin down yet. For now in System>Settings> you can find a power scheduling to turn on or off your entire NAS.

clearly after a year theOS6 has now enough maturity and decently enough add ons for many purposes. Still it can always be improved and I encourage all programmers for their work. The major missing feature is still the hdd spin down.
