OS6 now works on x86 Legacy WARNING: NO NTGR SUPPORT!
Update: It is now unofficially possible using NTGR images to update legacy hardware to os6.X See Post #3, for directions to install 6.2.1 on x86 Ultra and Pro Models. (ARM NOT SUPPORTED by this OS) ...

Hi All,
I have the Ultra 6 Plus and when I try to upload the PREP4TOR6_0.1-x86.bin as an addon it tells me that the architecture is not supported.
I may have missed a step, Any thoughts?
Looks like I figured it out. Just had to do a factory reset BEFORE I started to do any of the upgrade steps. Very weird, but happy to say I am updated and working as expected!
cficik is it any different if you boot with no disks installed?
koolfrank87 the factory default before installing the add-on normally isn't needed. On your system there must have been a problem for the add-on to fail to install.
I have not, although should have thought of that. I will tomorrow when I'm back in my office, fingers crossed it works... Thanks
