OS6 on Legacy x86 "could not properly extract" issue

Hi everybody,

Today I tried to update my legacy ReadyNas Ultra 6 to OS6.

I've followed installation steps from http://netgear.nas-central.org/wiki/OS6_on_Legacy_x86.

After reboot, LCD screen give me "could not properly extract" message.
NAS continues working untils it stucks at 84% of boot.

Anyone know how to solve this ?

Thank you.

  • Thanks for giving me tips. Sadly this didn't help me.

So I tried to do "OS reinstall" procedure and now my NAS boots and seems to work fine (except maybe system's fan right after boot, then it becomes stable).
