OSX Lion 10.7.4 not mounting NV+?
Hello all,
this is my first post to this forum. I´ve just upgraded my macs from 10.6.8 to 10.7.4 and get the following message "The version of the server you are trying to connect to is not supported. Please contact your system administrator to resolve the problem". It´s the same via both AFP and CIFS. I still have an old mac with 10.4.11 wich have no problem mounting the shares from the NV+. The NAS is a NV+ v1, RAIDiator 4.1.6 [1.00a043].
Any help or insight in this problem much appreciated! /rrongman

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYour firmware is old. Need AFP update included in newer firmware (e.g. 4.1.8 or 4.1.9 beta)
Welcome to the forum! - rrongmanAspirantHi mdgm
Thanks for answer. It was some time since I last had to do anything with the NV+. I assume that I should do a backup of what's on the NV+ before attemting to do the fw upgrade?
Regards /rrongman - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThat would be a good idea. 4.1.9 production is now available. I would update to that.
