XS716T Mounting Brackets
Hello,
I have just purchased a used XS716T (I know it is now discontinued - which I will take the risk for) and I plan to mount this to my data rack.
Worst case scenario is that I have to purchase a rack shelf for it to sit on. The seller says this is a shelf (sit on) setup but pictures I have seen for this on web searches do show holes in the side, suggesting it is mountable BUT I know revisions and different versions occur and so:
1) Can anyone confirm if all variations of the XS716T is possible to mount?
2) Is there a product code to purchase the correct "ears" for this?

Serial Number: 4KP6067P800C6
Just to add, I haven't yet received the product which is why I don't know the answer of the mounting holes, and whilst loads of pictures of the product, there are none of the side đ

Welcome to the community!
The XS716T is indeed EOL and the Rack-mount installations use a 19-inch (48.3-centimeter) EIA standard equipment rack. Have the product registered via https://my.negear.com/ and see if support can supply /or source you a rack-mounting kit.

Yeah, I checked out that guide but it doesn't mention the spec of the actual brackets. It just says use the mount kit provided. I also couldn't find any specification on the distance of the holes at the side.
If I am able to, I will register this as you suggested.
It should be arriving in a day or two anyway so I will be able to check then. I was just hoping to order the mounting kit in advance to save me waiting when the switch arrived, but nothing really urgent.
