RN316 Can't Remove HDD from Mounting Bracket

Maybe try sliding a table knife between the plastic and the front plate, and see if that gives you a bit more leverage. Of course be careful not to break the mount.

Having a difficult even posting!
I'm trying to replace my HDDs in my 316. I can;t remove the disk from the mounting bracket. The "nipple" that hold the plactic bracket to the bracket doesn't seem to want to disengage. When I press the tab marked "2: it doesn't seem to work. The plastic holder doesn't want to slide free so I can remove the HHD to replace it,
Any ideas?

Thanks, Stephen, A small flathead screwdriver did the trick. The problem I really had was understanding step #1. Pushing down on the plastic part that unlocks the "nipple". That step was clearly shown on the sticker UNDERNEATH the drive on the plate that holds the drive.
'Netgear how about a sticker on the flip side where it can be easily seen? This in not something I perform on a regular basis making it easier for me to recall. The webpage that shows that step is far inferior to thr sticker.
One more question. Can I dump these toolless plastic holders and use screws? I thought they were so nice when introduced. Now noy so much.
