OSX Maveric and RN 516 - smb problem #25261052
Hello, I have a RN 516, with firmware 6.1.9, but access from Mac OSC10.10 with smb is slow. is slow to show the folder, and copy files, also some folders do not give access privileges due (I also trie...
I am completely desperate. I do not know how to work, I have more than 3TB, I reset everything to the factory data, it took three days to copy all the files and folders, but still the usual problems, is completely unstable and unreliable, disappearing files and folders, change the access permissions, does not work either creating new backup and so on.
But someone similar problems?
After 10 months of my despair and my technician.
I think the answers are:
1- problem Hardware
2- Ready nas 516 not able to work, but to be used only for domestic backup.
I hope it is the first, it seems impossible that netgear produce products of unreliability, and I honestly do not even I would use for my house.
I believe I have ever seen in my life such a thing, not even the old WD network had these problems, and nememno my Xserve 10 years old. Help me !!!
