Performance graphs
Hi all, I am curious as to why I now have no data in my performance graphs irrespective of the period I select. Any ideas??? I had an NTP issue a few days ago which set my clock back to 1st J...

Just to add, these were the logs I see after the clock was set in the past by NTP.
Jan 01 00:02:37 DESPAIR readynasd[5804]: UpdateRRDVolume failed: ERROR: /run/readynasd/stats/volume_data_int.rrd: illegal attempt to update using time 1041379357 when last update time is 1496132602 (minimum one second step)
Jan 01 00:02:37 DESPAIR readynasd[5804]: NetworkStats eth0 failed: ERROR: /run/readynasd/stats/network_eth0_pkts.rrd: illegal attempt to update using time 1041379357 when last update time is 1496132602 (minimum one second step)
Jan 01 00:02:37 DESPAIR readynasd[5804]: NetworkStats eth1 failed: ERROR: /run/readynasd/stats/network_eth1_pkts.rrd: illegal attempt to update using time 1041379357 when last update time is 1496132602 (minimum one second step)
Jan 01 00:02:38 DESPAIR readynasd[5804]: UpdateRRDTemperature failed: ERROR: /run/readynasd/stats/temperature_int_deg.rrd: illegal attempt to update using time 1041379358 when last update time is 1496132602 (minimum one second step)
The time later corrected itself but maybe a process has stopped or some action needs to be taken.

I think that's just a side effect of the bad time. If you google, you'll see several other reports of this after NTP messes up.

I know but how do I get my graphs back... I'm thinking deleting the .rrd files will suffice but I'm keen to get feedback.

You've discovered a bug in the handling of a rewound clock by the thread that updates the graph data. If you don't reboot (or restart readynasd), you won't see any graphs for the next 14 years. :smileyhappy: The underlying issue here will be fixed in 6.7.5.

Thanks...
How can I safely restart readynasd on a running system without impact? I have SSH access.
Something else I've noticed too is that following each upgrade the historic data on the graphs is lost too, although this may be intentional.
