Persistent high CPU usage on multiple RN102s

Hello

We have four RN102s and we've recently noticed a common issue occurring on each of them where the CPU rises to 100% and can stay there for quite some time, perhaps even months (monitored over SNMP using PRTG).  A few observations/notes:

  1. The devices are running firmware version 6.6.1.
  2. Often the process/service responsible for high CPU usage is readynasd
  3. Have also seen winbindd using very high CPU - on one of these devices, this started happening on Wednesday afternoon and has been running at 100% ever since.
  4. It seems that only a restart will drop the CPU usage back down to normal.
  5. We are seeing repeated errors in dmesg on multiple devices: "[Thu Apr 20 14:44:06 2017] mvneta d0074000.ethernet eth0: bad rx status 0f830000 (overrun error), size=512"; sometimes these errors seem to match up with SNMP failing to monitor the device briefly
  6. These devices are intended for backup purposes and as such are typically not in active use, but on one brief occasion where users connected to one of them we saw these errors:

[2017/04/10 09:20:17.578793,  0] ../source3/modules/vfs_snapper.c:825(snapper_list_snaps_unpack)
  list_snaps error response: error.no_permissions
[2017/04/10 09:20:17.664091,  0] ../source3/modules/vfs_default.c:1197(vfswrap_fsctl)
  FSCTL_GET_SHADOW_COPY_DATA: connectpath /Volume1/742017, failed - NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED.
[2017/04/10 09:27:57.701317,  0] ../source3/auth/pampass.c:89(smb_pam_error_handler)
smb_pam_error_handler: PAM: session setup failed : Permission denied
[2017/04/10 09:27:57.702064,  0] ../source3/auth/pampass.c:89(smb_pam_error_handler)
smb_pam_error_handler: PAM: session setup failed : Permission denied
[2017/04/10 09:27:57.702542,  0] ../source3/auth/pampass.c:89(smb_pam_error_handler)

During this time, the users were not able to connect to the device over SMB.

Does anyone have any advice?  Is high CPU usage typical on the RN102s?  Is anyone aware of a fix?

Any help much appreciated.
