php5 & phpmyadmin - wrong password
Hello all.
I have installed the php5.3.10 and phpmyadmin 3.4.10 and can see both in frontview but when i try to log into phpmyadmin it asks for the username which i know is root but when i leave the password as blank it says "login without a password is forbidden"
does anyone know how i can get around this as i have googled and many sites say to change a line in /etc/phpmyadmin/config.inc.php but i can't even find where these php files/folders are stored on the readynas.

- Have you tried the same password you login to frontview with, because that's the admin password and that is probably what it is asking for.
- What happens if you try your admin password (with root as the user name)?
- Unfortunatly it is still the same.
I am not sure if I may have un-installed mysql yesterday when i removed the old php and phpmyadmin as i have read that it is built in and other add-ons like php5 and myphpadmin rely on mysql or am I on the wrong track?
if I am right, how do I re-install mysql?

if you can ssh to download and install?

and how to set up an etc / phpmyadmin / config.inc.php as I can not use this file to get on the console, I have no idea?
