Problem changing Admin password

Question

Hi,
Hav problem to change admin password. It worked earlyer but now I cant change it any more. And I can not add a new user.
Any ideés?

You might need to do an OS reinstall.&nbsp; That will reset the admin password back to password.&nbsp;&nbsp;It will also reset the network configuration to the default settings, and turn off volume quota.

Hi,
I get a nother tips. Log in with ssh on the unit and enter "passwd" and that worked. Now I have changed the password without doing a OS reinstall.

It doesn't generally work.&nbsp; I'm thinking that something you did resulted in changing the password to that value.

Still I can't change password from the web interface. But now how I can change via ssh it's ok for me.

Your change may/may not survive a reboot. Things to check would be e.g. root volume usage, shadow file and the management service database.
