Yes, I do have backups. I do nightly ones to another drive. I'm running 6.2.3 w/ SSH enabled.
I've used Seatools on drives before, but this is a WD Red drive, So I was wondering if the had something similar. Drive is only 3 month old, so it should be warrantied if needed.
But my main question was whether this is the sequence that's followed when you initiate a scrub? Does it take a disk offline if it needs to repair/recover?
From PhpSysInfo, it's up to 22.2% of the recovery done. I should find out in about 20 hours when it completes the recovery if my volume goes back from "degraded" to "redundant", and if Disk 3 goes from "failed" back to "online". Just wondering if anybody knew what I should expect. Do I need to get the ball rolling on purchase / delivery of a new 4TB drive?
