Thanks for the info. I didn't state so in the original post but I already knew I had the v1. While I believe you about the 2 TB limit, I still haven't found the reference in the manual that it is. It's only important because I used Netgear's official material as a reference to make several hundreds dollars of purchases from a personal budget. If I overlooked something, then I overlooked something. I can live with that. I am just curious whether I misread something or whether the manuals are simply unclear.
