Radiator 4.1.8 and files randomly disappearing
Hi all
We have a NV+ which was working perfectly on radiator 4.1.6 but due to upgrading to OSX Lion I had to install the latest firmware 4.1.8 on the NV+.
Ever since the update we are experiencing files randomly disappearing when copying or saving from programmes.
Sometimes the files reappear after disconnecting and then reconnecting to the share but sometimes the files delete .... I've seen the error 43 pop up a couple of times.
The issue is happening to macs only connecting via AFP, our macs are running 10.5, 10.6 and 10.7.
Any body any ideas?
(We had this problem once with 4.1.5 but the update to 4.1.6 seemed to fix the problem)

- jcmfeAspirantHopefully the upgrade to 4.1.9 sorts this problem.
- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserThere are some issues with 4.1.9. You might want to wait for 4.1.10.
- jcmfeAspirantOh dear, just updated the back-up drive with 4.1.9 .... will wait on the live drive
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThe 4.1.9 update has an ownership issue which is addressed in 4.1.10 beta: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=59222
I'm running 4.1.10 beta on one of my NV+ units but betas aren't for everyone. - jcmfeAspirantCheers for the info.
I'll leave the 4.1.8 running on the live work boxes, the backup should be fine on 4.1.9
I'll wait for 4.1.10 for the live work boxes.
