RadyNas Duo RND2150 -RAIDAR
Hello, I have received an email suggesting that I upgrade to 4.2.28. I am using Windows 7 but I don't have RAIDAR installed. I think that I forgot to instal RAIDAR when I build the PC some years ago...

Your duo can't run 4.2.28. That email was intended for pro/ultra owners, and had a broader reach than it should have.
That said, if you haven't been keeping your duo's firmware up to date, you might want to fix that. You don't need RAIDar, you can do directly to the NAS web admin page (https://nasname/admin or https://nasipaddress/admin).
First figure out if you have a v1 or a v2. Don't depend on the product label, look through this: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how-to-tell-whether-i-have-a-duo-v1-or-duo-v2-or-nv-v1-or-nv-v2/
You can find current info here:
v1: http://support.netgear.com/product/RND2000v1+$28ReadyNAS+Duo+v1$29
v2: http://support.netgear.com/product/RND2000v2+$28ReadyNAS+Duo+v2$29
You probably should use RAIDar 4.3.8 (not 6.0). Click "more downloads" to see a bigger list...
