Hello ndpm,
Do you have iSCSI luns configured and Backup Job running on the NAS?
Also what ReadyNAS Apps are installed?
Please give more description like how slow and how do you access the NAS? Is it integrated to AD or just using local users?

No apps, no back up. We have just SMB enabled and all the computer are local users.
The problem is, let say you go to a folder with pictures on it, take 2 minutes for the thumbails to show or open sometimes a picture take 20 second.
I know window need to create cached but they have been using this for 3 month.
We have two 2 TB drive with Raid 1 on it and we have only 500 GB in use.
I have no iSCSI enable or any job.

Hello ndpm,
Does this happen on all local machines accessing the NAS?
What is the current firmware version?
If you have enough time, try connecting the NAS straight to a computer. Then access the NAS admin page by typing https://nas-xx-xx-xx where last x is last 6 digits of MAC address of the NAS in the address bar of your web browser. Once you get in, go to Network then click Settings on the Ethernet then go to TCP/IP, you will see IPv4 address. Put a static IP address on the TCP/IP of the computer's LAN so computer will be able to map the NAS' IP address. Then observe if it is still slow.
Don't forget to put computer's TCP/IP settings back to obtain IP address and DNS automatically when putting it back to the network.

It happens on all the pc, the network for sure is not the case, I change router and switch for a gigabit one.
The NAS have nothing enabled, just SMB for files sharing.
We have version 6.2.5
The NAS all ready have static IP, I try to connect to the shared with the IP not the name.
The NAS connect it directly is the same, is like when you go to window explorer to see pictures, take several second to load all pictures thumbails.- JennCAug 21, 2015NETGEAR Employee Retired
Hello ndpm,
How many LAN cables are plugged in to the NAS?
If 2, please remove one and see if the same.
It appears you have already contacted support where OS reinstall was suggested to you. If you get the same problem with only one LAN cable plugged in, it may be best you get back to the support expert you spoke with, case 25604880 is still open, he may need to have this escalated to an L3.
