RN102/104 Performance after 6.1.6
Hello friends I just want to check if someone else have a similar problem as I do. Here are results before reboot (uptime abt 1 day since last reboot) NAS performance tester 1.7 http://www.808....

Hello,
I just saw the exact same problem with a ReadyNAS 314.
I have 4x4TB Seagate HDDs installed. Installed the official 6.1.6 Firmware, did a "Factory Reset" after that, because I had that huge performace problem caused by the failures in the file system.
Now I copied over all my files....in total app. 10TB data.
And now....from time to time, if I try to read data on the NAS the speed is extremely low!
App. same values as the first post!
As I have different hardware....and different HDDs....only the same Firmware.....I am 110% sure it is a software issue!
One difference.....when I had the problem.....and realized it was the NAS....I also did a reboot.
1. The boot took extremely long.....I almost thought it froze.
2. When the unit finally was done booting, the speed was still as low as before.
That caused me to think my network has a problem....but different tests showed me that it must be the NAS and not the network.
Conclusion:
The NAS is having very low read speeds from time to time. Other times the speeds are very good (over 80MB/s)
I can not reproduce the time when it is happening.
When the problem occurs a reboot does not always resolve the issue.
Can I help to find the solution for this behaviour!?
Cheers
Hossa
PS: I never thought of checking the write speed when it happend! Will try it next time! ;-)
