Would this be the default admin user or any user I have setup as an admin.
It's the password for the actual admin account, not other users in the admin group.

I believe I have forgotten the default admin password is there a way to reset it without resetting the NAS drive.
An OS-reinstall will reset the password to password. It will also reset the network connection to use DHCP, and turn off volume quotas. Data isn't lost, and those other changes are easily undone.

Thanks will try this tonight and set the NAS back up.
Just got to find my manual now, I am sure a search online will get me one.
