Win 11 or RN202?

'Newbie' here...... New Win11 computer, now can't write to ReadyNas 202. Access is fine, able to copy/read from new computer, even media player in TV room on WiFi, but can't put/paste new files on ...

So are you using Guest access? Microsoft has depreciated guest access to servers. You should be using a user name and password that the NAS recognizes. You can user Admin, but there are good reasons not to. The easiest is to go into the admin interface and add your Windows user name and password to the recognized users. But if you are using a Microsoft account email-type log-on name, that's not going to work. You'll have to choose another name and password and, if you so desire, add those credentials to the Windows Credentials Manager on the PC.

thebdub - you would have had to do the same with the Win10 machine. If that is still in service, you can check the windows credential manager on that PC, and use the same credentials on the new one.
