ReadNAS 314; Admin Password reset -

Taking your suggestion, I have re-installed drives and booted. My first task was to test the login from ttyl - local console - and I don't recall
being able to sign in,
I also checked being able to sign into the GUI, and was able to do so - from LInux. It occured to me that I ran into a similar issue some time back and discovered that a Windows update was causing issues with the password on the share vol. (at that time) Uninstalling the update resolved it, until the next time it installed.
Working from Linux and the NFS share vol, I've not had issue. My concern at first was that the unit had be compromised and the passwords changed / ransomware'd.
While I am changing password and reviewing the logs now, I suspect it is okay - which is a good time. Sounds like a great time to make a triple backup.

Perhaps the PC credential for the NAS got changed somehow. So maybe take a look at that (or just delete the credential and create a new one).
