Ready DLNA stopped working for music streaming

I tried the WNR3700 in AP and that made no difference. Still had connectivity, but no DLNA. Either at 2.4 or 5 mHz, btw as I tried both.
The WNR2000 has no AP mode I can find. And unless you have an idea I can try, I intend to return the WNR3700 today while I can.
"In AP mode you will be using 192 addresses throughout your network. DLNA is not designed to pass through NAT routers, and DLNA discovery generally won't work if the NAS is on the WAN side of that router, and the clients are on the WLAN/LAN side."
Not sure what this means. But once again, it all worked perfectly for so long as is with no changes that I made.
