You can't just assign a fixed IP to the WNR2000. The problem is that it is routing. The right network design either has it routing nothing, or has it routing everything.
Is the NAS the only device with a fixed address?
You could leave your original config, reassign the NAS to be automatic, and then move it to the WNR2000 and retest Oppa.
