ready NAS 102 : impossible to update firmware & to save conf

In fact, with your link, I feel very confortable to do it. I felt inconfortable, cause, when you told me about the boot menu, I searched , and found only the same page you gave to me, but for the readynas 104 (this one seems to have a screen that let U know when you are on boot mode) So, with your page, it's really clear (don't know what I did to miss it and arrive on the "wrong" 104 model page....)
I'm not a "professionnal" on NAS, but I built/mounted my computers (piece by piece), and totally installed them, so, I'm not a "newbit" in computers.
In about 1 hour, my data will be totally backup, so, I could make the OS Réinstall :)
ANyway, thanks a lot for your and, your explanations & kindness. Will let U know the result when I'll done it!!

(I've tried all the after noom to do many manipulation like all restart (computer, NAS, Swtich, Router, etc...) tried to install some certificat to don't have the message "security risk" on my different navigators, and this evening, tried the jonjonoo solution with Firefox, without succes...
Not a big deal to not have the last update, BUT, really borring to have the message each time "new firmware blablabla" and always good to have new firmware from official NETGEAR when it's provided.
