Ready Nas Adding a new disk

SOLVED:
TO UPDATE, I checked the Hard Disk. It was all good.
I left the device, and It found the Hard Disk after 24 Hours!
Now works fine.

Perhaps try rebooting the NAS.

The next step is to test the new drive. The best way is to connect the drive to a windows PC (either SATA or via a usb/sata adapter) and run Western Digital's lifeguard program.
Also, if you have a scratch disk available, you could insert it into slot 4 and see if it is recognized.
