Ready Nas duo v2 won't recognize external usb drives over 2

thanks for trying to help.. I am a computer tech, trust when I say everything is fine with my drives.. as stated before, they work fine with my older nas boxes plugged into the usb 2.0 ports.. 1 single drive, i raid 5, 5 drive, 1 4 drive raid.. all fine,, yes, 2 tera drive and below all work in all ports, I have tested a spare i have and placed it in the rosewill external usb 3 case. it wont mount any drive over 2.. i will bet you that EVERYONE with drives larger has, or will have the same issue.. it is def a beta firmware.. why? i will be this was over looked.. but let's see, if others are not having these exact issues, I am cool with Netgear.. if they are, then the product is not fit for production line..
