Ready Nas NV+ update issue
I can't seem to get my NAS to preform the update. I'm trying to go it from the local 4.1.13 file since it doesn't seem to find it in the remote update. It seems to just sit there on the update screen with the indicator just spinning forever. The update light on the web front view blinks but it never seems to update. I'm also having a problem with uploading new plugins. The same thing happens. Has anyone found a fix for this yet? i really dont want to have to reset it to factor default. I've done a bit of research on it and can't seem to find anything.

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserHow old is the NAS? This could be a full OS partition (just one possibility).
You can try deleting all the logs (w/o downloading them). Though the best way to check is to enable ssh, and just look at the fullness of the OS partition with df. - LeStrangedreamAspirant

If IRC the only way to the only way to enable ssh is to install the Enable Root SSH plugin correct? Ive tried to install that and like everything else I can't seem to get it to install either. I'm not sure of the exact age of the NAS. I got it from a buddy of mine but I completely wiped it when he gave it to me. I'll try clearing the logs now and see is that fixes it.
Edit: Clearing the logs worked. Ha don't know why i didn't think of that before now. thank you for your help. - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserTry enabling ssh, and check the OS fullness though. You want to make sure the problem doesn't recur.

I checked it and its only at 22%. I should be good there. - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserYes, 22% is healthy.
It's good to keep an eye on it, as it can be hard to fix if it progresses to the point where the NAS won't boot.
