ReadyDR not working to offsite location
Our client has a ReadyNAS 716 (v6.9.3) and is using ReadyDR to backup their snapshots to a ReadyNAS 516 (v6.9.3).
This has been working perfectly until their insurance company told them to move the...

Thank you for that StephenB.
It is still not working. I have setup port forwarding to the NAS on the remote router, I have also setup a DDNS account with ChangeIP.com, the router has been configured to use that DDNS account, and the ChangeIP record indicates that it has had a successful request from the router.
On the Source device (716), under the Destination Tab, the "Remote" button is blue, but the Host is showing as nasname.local
I assume that we need to change this also, but what do we put in there?
Thankyou

You need the DDNS name of the remote router.

It should just take the full ddns name that reaches the far-end router. As a test, you chould try using that router's IP address.
Do either ReadyNAS use static IP addresses? If so, check that they are properly configured (and in particular, that there's at least one DNS server in the configuration).

Still not working with the remote router ip address - same error message.
The source (716) has a static ip and has a working DNS address.
The destination (516) has a dhcp address of 192.168.100.111 with a dns of 192.168.100.254 (router) on the same network as I am using writing these posts.
