Ok, am thoroughly confused now. I know my way round a PC and network so have spent an hour or two testing switches, cables, settings on PCs and NAS itself.
I have one PC where I cannot see the NAS at all under Network (Win 8.1) and another I can. The PC where I can see the NAS I can only see a basic folder tree and little or no contents when viewed under PC resources ie. nasname:ReadyNAS Duo. I also have Panasonic TV which is DLNA enabled where I can see photo folders (and photos), music folders (and music) but nothing under the videos folder. I have reset, updated software and checked settings and am still none the wiser. All very odd.
