ReadyNAS 102 - Remains in offline mode
Following is what I was doing on the device, when it went offline:
1) I was copying huge data(of the order of 20 GB) over the WLAN onto my ReadyNAS device, the device suddenly was not available on the PC.
2) On a different PC, at the same time I was also installed some app. I did not like it much, so I uninstalled.
The installation somehow was not successful and the uninstallation process was never ending. So I closed the admin page manually.
First I realized that the data transfer got stopped with message that device is not available. Same error on both the PCs.
Following are my observations:
1) The ReadyCloud app is showing that the device is offline.
2) I tried using Raidar. It is listing the device. But however when I click on browse, it is not showing the "Documents", Music, Pictures, Videos directories which are empty. But it is not showing the "home" directory, where I actually have the data.
3) I tried to discover the device again using https://readycloud.netgear.com, first I got the message that there are no devices available.
There was a tip there asking to press the backup button for 5 secs and to try again.
I tried that and now the device got discovered with a button to "Manage"
When I clicked on "Manage", browser says "unable to connect"
How can I bring back the ReadyNAS to operation?
Thanks a lot for helping me out.

- Deno666AspirantHi
I am having the same problems and any knowledge to fix the issue would be appreciated
RN102 updated to 6.2.2. uninstalled camera server app now will not allow admin page to open
data is backed up, tried OS reinstall via boot menu worried factory reset will render it inaccessible.

I believe support or a netgear poster here are likely to help you. You can contact support via support.netgear.com. They might want to charge, make it clear to them that you have the uninstall problem with 6.2.2.Deno666 wrote: Hi

Assuming that you don't want to wait, and that you don't have ssh enabled... -
A factory reset will fix it, but will require you to reinstall everything (and reload the data from backup).
Another option is to remove the two disks (labeling by slot) and install a scratch disk. Then upgrade the firmware to 6.2.3 beta (links are in this forum). Shut down the NAS, re-install the original disks, and power up. The NAS will automatically install the 6.2.3 beta firmware onto the original disks, which will fix the problem. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYour case #24954970 has been escalated. It was escalated on the weekend and it is a long weekend so it will probably be looked at on Tuesday or Wednesday.
