ReadyNAS 102 freezes/hangs frequently after upgrade to 6.2.3
My Readynas 102 hangs or freezes frequently after i upgraded to version 6.2.3. Does not respond to power button or cannot launch admin page, i have to always unplug the power cable and re-connect to start the nas drive. Runs well for some hours and then hangs again.
I downloaded and reviewed the log files but i cant find any errors. Or maybe i am looking at the wrong location.
Any help on this would be great.

Do you have add-ons/apps installed on the unit? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThe common factor with this problem seems to be having openvpn installed.
- praveenvergheseAspirantI have not tried OS re-install.
I do not have the openvpn app installed, however i have the following apps.
Antivirus-Plus
SMB-Plus
PHPsysinfo for Readynas
Ajaxplorer.
Which log file should i look for errors, if there are any.
-Praveen - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredCan you send me your logs (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?
- praveenvergheseAspirantHi Mdgm, i have emailed you the log files as you had suggested. Please let me know if you find anything unusual. Just a note, i do have scheduled my nas drive to automatically shutdown at 1am and startup at 6am, so you might find a lot of shutdown/startup in the log files.
Thanks in advance, and really appreciate your time on this.
-Praveen - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredIf you remove the rsyslog app does that make any difference?
- praveenvergheseAspiranti think i uninstalled rsyslog long time back. I only have the following apps currently running.
Antivirus-Plus
SMB-Plus
PHPsysinfo for Readynas
