ReadyNas 104 - unable to login to webadmin
Hi everyone,
I have problem with ReadyNas 104 after uninstalling MonstaFTP. Firmware 6.2.2. I can ping access to the shares but i cant login to the webadmin site.
I need to say that I didn't start SSH so i can't log in by this way (in normal mode operation).
What should i do. I have almost 3,5 TB data on this NAS and I can't lose or move it (buying the 4TB HDD is crazy idea especially i can't access to some subfolders even as a admin). What can/should i do to repair it and upgrade the firmware to 6.2.3 beta firmware?
Best Regards,
MZ
P.S. My problem looks almost the same like in this post:

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserYou have run into a known 6.2.2 bug. You can contact support (and they should help you w/o charge). They can fix it easily remotely.
Another option is a bit tricky (and requires a scratch disk).
-power down, remove all drives, labeling by slot
-install scratch drive, and do factory install
-upgrade to 6.2.3 beta (found in this forum)
-power down, re-install original drives
On power up, the NAS hsould install 6.2.3 onto the original disks, which will restore the web admin access (and prevent the problem from happening again). - Lord_Nikkon1AspirantHmm.
I noticed about this bug today and very painfully.
First option sounds good but i need to wait till Monday.
Second option is nice too - i made something like this on my second NAS - QNAP TS412.
Problem is one. After making this upgrade is any risk to lose the data form RAID disks? I have 2,5" old drive (only one is needed??) so i can use it and also I have a time. The most important is data on the raid. If i will lose it my wife will kick me out form the bed. - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserI've been running 6.2.3 beta for a while on my RN102, and it has been stable for me. Though it is configured as jbod.
You only need one drive for the factory set (and of course it should not be from the array).
If you are not in a rush, then maybe try support first. - Lord_Nikkon1AspirantI think You have a right. I will wait till Monday and i will call to tech support in my country (Poland). Funny thing - NAS is form Japanese market (i brought it with myself). That way it has lot of important data. For me NAS must just share folders, nothing more. Interesting thing. Is it only in 6.2.2 FW or all, that when i have full rights to master folder "X" sometimes i can't access to some (one or more) subfolders? For example "X" has RW but some subfolder has deny but before i created it and use it. Suddenly server shows me middle finger and i need again make right to whole share.
