What happened that caused this problem?
You have tried to factory default the unit with a spare disk in? I suspect this will not help.
Where did you get information on manually reinstalling the firmware using ssh?
I think you need to probably do a USB boot recovery or have someone remotely fix this.
The former is a last resort procedure, so I would wait for someone to help you with this.
Depending on the origin of this problem, support may be able to help you, although you have been doing significant things with ssh so they may deny support.
