ReadyNAS 104 ERR: Could not mount boot flash

Hi

I am also facing the fact of a RN104 with the Could not mount boot flash Error.

I have worked through the list with suggestions and am seeing the same error over and over.
Last I checked with an empty disk to do a factory default and a OS reinstall.
Still no luck,.

My forum searches seem to indicate I need to do a USB rescue action.

Can anyone supply me with the proper files and procedures?
The exact model number is RN10400 and has firmware is 6.0.8. installed, quite possibly corrupt.

Suggestions as to what may have caused it are welcome so I can prevent it from happening again.
