Readynas 104 SMB won't activate
Been using it for almost 2 years and no problem. All of suddent I can't enalbe SMB and SSH. Just now I can enable SSH but SMB still not activating. Did a OS reinstallation, and upgrade to 6.8.1, non...
Remote check your NAS, permission changed to guest, so smb can't start,
I chenged them to root, then SMB start successfully.
Please try to access your NAS again via SMB.
root@NETGEARnass:/var/lib/samba# ls
account_policy.tdb group_mapping.tdb private registry.tdb share_info.tdb
root@NETGEARnass:/var/lib/samba# ls -al
total 1772
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Nov 27 2012 .
drwxr-xr-x 23 root root 4096 Sep 26 23:12 ..

Hi the command is not working...

-bash: /var/lib/samba#: No such file or directory
