Readynas 214: performance down and Admin page extremely slow

Hi,

I'm running a Readynar 214 with 4 6TB Hitachi disks, totaling about 16 TB in XRaid.

Currently about 25% occupied.

When trying to move the family foto-album (multiple TB) over from a NV+ things started to go sideways:

Aside from very slow thruput into the 214 (could be because it's a lot of files..), right now access to 214 is very difficult: the admin page is extrelemy slow to come up, if it even does without timing out...

Access to files is there, but not up to the speeds I was accustomed to...

So, my question is simple: what do I fix to get the speed back up?

PS: running directly behind a Netgear EA9500 route/switch which doesn't support Link Aggr. apparently

Link aggregation won't speed this up anyway - the performance bottleneck is almost certainly the NV+

    How are you doing this?

The NV+ was indeed getting too slow. That was the reason  for getting the 214....

But I now have trouble accessing the Admin-pages, as well as trouble getting decent output towards the TV (4K files over DLNA).

The problem is not with the NV+

        1. Are you still copying the data?
        2. How are you doing that?
        3. How quickly is it being copied?
