ReadyNAS 3100 all disk lights flashing red
I recieved a ReadyNAS NASRNRP4000 last weekend. When I powered it up and the disk failor lights where flashing red in unison. Other servers can access the data, but I can not access it via IP address...

You can hook up a console cable to the back and watch the startup. Copy/paste the output if you can.
Or you can try an OS reinstall to reset network adapters/admin pw and reinstall the OS, and see if you can see in RAIDar after that.
Maybe check your initrd.log file and see if your flash image is corrupt.

I am able to watch it boot up. Do you know any trick to copy the text as it does, so I can post it? Thanks -ken

I use PuTTY or KiTTY for my console connections. Both have the same option to copy the output. Make sure your window is large enough to capture all of the startup.
I believe you have an ability to attach a file to the post -- save the output as a text file.
Both also do logging to a file.- KenTravisFeb 01, 2016Aspirant
Oh, I didn't know about the serial port. Can I fix this issue with terminal access?

SAC>It would be interesting, but looks like your ReadyNAS 3100 is trying to boot Windows Server instead of trying to boot RAIDiator 4.2.
If you put disks in there that are used, please issue a factory default to setup the ReadyNAS.
If you have existing data on those disks, maybe consider finding out if you still need that data.
SAC is Special Administration Console for WIndows Server -- not ReadyNAS.
