ReadyNAS 314 - inactive volumes error.

Hello Netgear Community,

So I'm a NAS noob and my home "ReadyNAS 314" has decided to greet me with the following error message.

"Remove inactive volumes to use the disk. Disk #1,2,3,4."

It's a 4 bay NAS with WD Red 4tb drives in each slot set to RAID5.

I've done a fair bit of Googling which led me here.

Is there a way for me to get this thing going again or am I potentially out of luck and have lost everything?

Thank you.

Maybe, it's hard to say at this point.

First of all, DON'T remove any inactive volumes.

Download the full log zip file - there is a lot of useful information in the logs that doesn't show up on the log page of the web ui.  This can be hard to sort out - if you want me to take a look, you can upload the log zip to cloud storage (google drive, dropbox, etc) and send me a PM (private message) with a link.  You send a PM using the envelope icon in the upper right of the forum page.  Make sure the link permissions are set so anyone with the link can download.

I'm afraid that Disk 1 was removed and then plugged back in.
I have sent you a DM with the log.

      thank you,
