ReadyNAS 316 displays bfq_lookup_next_entity+eb and goes off-line

Same here. The reboot I did on saturday turned out not to have been neccesary. It seems the the problem has been solved by the Beta.
Not a solution, sorry, but a guess. If antivirus is enabled, please disable, reboot and see, whether it improves.
