readyNAS 516: Access Denied in W2000 Domain
Hello,
we have a new readyNAS 516 with Firmware 6.0.8. We use a Windows 2000 Domain Server. The Authentication is set to Active Directory. The ADS Accounts are imported correctly.
But we cannot join to a share from windows explorer for example. We get "Access Denied" and are prompted for username and password.
Has anyone an idea?
Thanks for your help.
Michael

Windows 2000 Domain Server has been an End Of Life product for over 3 years. Maybe it's time you updated to a newer version of Windows Server?
I guess you could try contacting support (either phone support if within 90 days of purchase or making an Online Submission if over 90 days since purchase) and see if they have any suggestions but considering the age of your server there may not be much that they can do.
