Will the RN516 support it? Or would it require a new hardware to be purchased?
Where is this on the roadmap; rough estimate?
Any hardware requirements would be made clear once it's available.
Late this year, but that's very subject to change. Could end up being next year.
Even without SSD caching our devices perform very well. We put a very powerful CPU in the RN516
mdgm-ntgr, I'm struggling with SMB preformance and created a thread about it. I'm advised that the customer thinks a Synology device with SSD caching will improve some of these issues. I don't want to high jack this thread so I wont say anything more other than, if you have time, check out that thread and comment. :)
