ReadyNAS BusinessPro (6310) upgrade to OS 6 stuck at Booting 98%
Subject pretty much says it all. It's been stuck at "Booting 98%" for more than eight hours. I've read other posts saying that this upgrade was successful. For those who had success, how long did...

Did you install the Prep add-on before installing the R4toR6 bin?
If not you will need to do a manual factory default via the boot menu
If you did install the Prep add-on at this point you could try doing a manual factory default via the boot menu anyway.
If it still won't come up then I can take a look.

OK. I just pressed the on-off button briefly and the display changed to "systemd-quotacheck". Then I pressed it briefly again and it again displayed "Booting 98%."
Should I simply hold it down until it shuts off and then turn it on again?

Yes.
I assume that as you are updating from OS4 to OS6 you have backed up your data.

Yeah. I expected to have to reload (re-backup) all the data from the 516. So, I just rebooted.
It says "Booting..." It went to 90% in less than a minute and then to 92% a minute later. Now, thirty minutes later, it still says 92%. What do you suggest I do next?

It seems it just needed a push. I shut it off and then brought up the boot system menu. I selected Factory Restore. After a relatively short amount of time (minutes), the system came up and I was able to get to it via RAIDar. And it's running OS 6.6.0.
Note to anyone else who does this with an older unit. The old documentation for the ReadyNAS Business Pro says the default userID/Password combination is admin/netgear1. But if you upgrade to OS6, it's admin/password.
Thank you so much for your help.
