ReadyNAS Duo Disc Capacity

I was reading the compatibility chart and I dont know how to tell if my ReadyNAS Duo is a V1 or V2. I have 2x2TB drives but I am out of space. I would like to upgrade to 2x 3TB but I dont know if my drive can handle it. Can someone point me to the right place?

You most likely have the v1 which is limited to 2TB drives. If you have the v1 you'll need a new NAS to use 3TB drives. You'll also need to transfer your data (e.g. across your network) to the NAS. See the last sentence of http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how_do_i_migrate_disks_over_from_an_existing_readynas_to_another

The Duo v2 was released for sale beginning November 13th 2011. Units sold before this time will all be v1.

v1 units will show a firmware version of 4.1.x in the Info (far right) column of RAIDar and have a web-interface that looks like this: http://www.readynas.com/simulators/frontview

v2 units will show a firmware version of 5.3.x in the Info (far right) column of RAIDar and have a different new dashboard web-interface.

The v1 is the RND2000-100 and the v2 is the RND2000-200
