I'm really glad you didn't assume I'm Linux guy and provided Windows based Linux reader. Highly appreciated! Hope I wouldn't need to run in the details of 4kb vs 16 kb blocksize issue (well described here: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=24861 and way beyond my capabilities)
Will write back once I have all test run and will be extra careful to not make hot-insert with my operational drives.
