ReadyNas Duo TRY to admin the router

I have a ReadyNas Duo connected to a Netgear DGN2200M router. In the router log I find several “[Admin login failure] from source 192.168.0.107”. This is the IP of the nas. Why does it attempt to access to the router as an administrator? I have no third-parts add-on installed. What does it mean? Is it serious?

  • Yes readynas remote is enabled. But why does it want to manage the router? Maybe it's only an error il the log. I think it's not important. Thank you for the answer.
  • I don't know why the router displays the message. Its clearly remote, you could check by turning it off temporarily.

I'm not convinced that it is remote, but disabling the service would let you know for sure.
