ReadyNAS Duo V1 Capacity max.
I note from the original HDD compatibility listing, that my current unit will accept 1.5TB units. As the model reccomended is no longer available could you please advise current approved drives, greater than the two 750 GB HDD insitu. Your advice much appreciated

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserRe-insertion was what I was about to suggest :D
- 2treesAspirantHad to use the Birmingham Screwdriver to the #2 disc again, then was able without connection probs. upgrade #1 disc and all has been accepted in Frontview. Volume C still persists in quoting the original Disc capacities ie 698GB, Have performed a Skip Volume Check, but this has not corrected the error. What do I need to carry out ?

- 2treesAspirantAm not 100% sure how one carries out a Reboot. Cannot find any notes at all on the subject especially for a v1. stephenb has recommended to Reboot via Frontview. The only link I can see to reboot is via System Update, which I have now carried out twice.I have also assumed that a " Skip volume check" is a reboot and carried that out twice.Neither of these methods have proved successful, so much so that although Drives 1&2 are showing 1862GB in Status, my Backup service has stopped, and requests new discs as the 698GB are full
- StephenBGuru - Experienced Userto reboot: From frontview, select "system", then "shutdown"
Check "shutdown and reboot device", then click apply at the bottom right.
Also, what are you seeing on the volume page (particularly what does Frontview say is "allocated" for each drive)? - 2treesAspirantHave carried out your instructions, but no change, Volume page states 1862GB allocated for both drives 1& 2.Have taken a Snipit of the page but cannot see how to attach it to this page.
- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserWhat does it say at the top of the volume page? It should be something like "693GB (37%) of 1.8 TB used" with a note underneath like "Additional 10 GB reserved for snapshots"
- 2treesAspirantDisc space 698GB(99%) of 693GB used
- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserWhat firmware are you running?
